Manual QA Engineer Sofia

We are currently looking for an experienced Manual QA Engineer with a strong background in various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing, to join one of our product teams at FIO SYSTEMS. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of QA processes and methodologies, along with basic experience in test automation.

FIO SYSTEMS AG has been part of the Hypoport group since 2018 and specializes in providing web-based business software solutions. The products cover all processes in the areas of real estate management and marketing, virtual banking, and claim management. FIO was established in 1999 in Leipzig and opened its office in Sofia in 2002.

Your responsibilities:

• Analyze functional and non-functional requirements
• Perform extensive manual testing for new features and create test cases
• Identify, reproduce, report, and track software bugs
• Perform regression testing
• Take part in the release approval process
• Research and share new practices, tools, and technologies to increase QA efficiency
• Tightly collaborate with the QAs, developers, and product owners

What we expect:

• 3+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify the root causes of failures and defects
• Attention to detail and strong self-organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Knowledge of German would be considered an advantage.
